<Liberty Print Strawberry Thief>

William Morris was a British thinker, poet, designer, author, and painter who had a profound influence on the history of design. This design, called The Strawberry Thief, was created in 1883, inspired by Morris's own experience of having his strawberries eaten by birds while he was trying to grow them. In 1979, Liberty printed it as a furnishing fabric, and later scaled down the pattern and adjusted the design for Tana Lawn. It was added to the Classic Collection in 1995 and remains a firm favorite today.
